Who are you?
I'm Solacit, a South African Twitch streamer and developer who loves diving into story-rich games and competitive shooters. I started streaming in 2024 and achieved Twitch Affiliate status!
What does "Solacit" mean?
It comes from the word "Solace," meaning comfort and peace. Gaming has always been my escape, and I wanted my channel to be that same kind of refuge for viewers.
Where are you from?
I'm based in South Africa (ZA represent! 🇿🇦), and I stream in South African Standard Time (SAST).
Streaming Schedule
When do you stream?
I stream three times per week:
- Tuesday at 8:00 PM SAST
- Thursday at 8:00 PM SAST
- Saturday at 8:00 PM SAST
What timezone is that in?
8:00 PM SAST = 6:00 PM UTC = 1:00 PM EST = 10:00 AM PST
Do you ever change your schedule?
I try to maintain consistency, but life happens! Any schedule changes are announced at least 24 hours in advance on Twitter, Discord, and Twitch.
How long are your streams?
Streams typically last 2-4 hours, depending on the game and how the session is going.

What games do you play?
I focus on two main categories:
- Story-Rich Games: Cyberpunk 2077, Life Is Strange, Detroit: Become Human, Baldur's Gate 3
- Competitive Shooters: Valorant, Apex Legends, Rainbow Six Siege
Do you take game suggestions?
Absolutely! Drop suggestions in Discord or during streams. I love discovering new games through the community.
Do you play with viewers?
Yes! I host community game nights for multiplayer titles. Join the Discord to stay updated on upcoming sessions.

What are the stream rules?
- Be respectful to everyone
- No hate speech, discrimination, or harassment
- No spamming or excessive caps
- No spoilers without warnings
- Keep backseating to a minimum (unless I ask for help!)

Moderators are chosen from active, helpful community members who embody the channel's values. There's no application process—just be a positive presence!
