Make it your own; keep it considerate.
Thoughts can be about games, your experiences with Solacit, community life, or something you're dealing with. Speak from your experience. No harassment, threats, hate, scams, spam or impersonation.
Public does mean public.
Anyone may read a published Thought. Do not share home addresses, contact details, private conversations, intimate images or identifying information about somebody else. Pause before posting details you may later regret sharing. Posting here does not give Solacit permission to turn your words into an endorsement or testimonial.
Anonymous to the community; accountable to the guardians.
Choosing Anonymous hides your username from other readers. The service still keeps your account connected to the post. Administrators can look up the author for moderation and safety; those lookups are recorded. Anonymity is not permission to target someone. Details in your own words may still identify you.
Sharing content, not changing its permissions.
Thoughts can reference public gallery items and published reviews. Members cannot upload to the creator library or attach private files. If referenced content is hidden or deleted, its preview becomes unavailable. Tagging never grants private-library access.
Support without pretending to have all the answers.
You can talk about a hard day and offer kindness. This space is not a therapy, crisis or emergency service, and it is not monitored continuously. Avoid graphic details, instructions for harm or pressuring somebody to share more. For urgent danger, contact appropriate local emergency support or someone who can help you directly.
Reports and moderation.
Signed-in members can report a Thought. Reports are private to administrators. Administrators can hide posts, resolve reports and pause posting for an account. Reporting is not a voting system, and a report does not automatically hide a post. Your own posts can be deleted; hidden posts cannot be edited to bypass moderation.
Your account and privacy.
Your birthday is optional and private. Use a username that is yours, not an imitation of an administrator. Gallery tags appear with your username; remove your own tag or turn off future tags in Notifications. No notification emails are sent for tags.
Optional browsing analytics stays off until you allow it. Posting, notifications, privacy choices and abuse-protection records are necessary community functions; they do not depend on accepting analytics cookies. Thought text and individual Thought addresses are excluded from analytics.
